MICHAEL LOFTUS
Founder/Advisor
Spurred by a desire to offer top-notch and individualized service, Michael Loftus left the comforts of corporate America in 2010 to start Loftus Wealth Strategies, a boutique wealth management firm focused on facilitating superior service and sound advice with a personalized touch.

Michael is a seasoned and well-tested professional with over 30 years of business experience, with 25 of those in the financial industry. He’s held senior-level positions managing sales, marketing and national account teams for multibillion-dollar financial institutions and has worked closely with several top money management firms.

​Making the switch from the corporate side was not an easy one, from having many resources to building a business from scratch. But Michael jumped in to make sure he had the best technology, financial planning and investment processes, and more. This learning curve continues today, as Michael wants to ensure a top-notch experience for all his clients. His dedication to educate and communicate is what drives him every day.
Superior service sometimes requires travel, and Michael makes it happen. After several of his long-term clients moved to Florida full-time, the Loftus Wealth Strategies team opened a satellite office in Ponte Vedra, Florida in the summer of 2022. This allows Michael to make regular visits to his valued clients, as well as bring in a select group of new clients to serve. Regular visits and our clearly defined process will continue to ensure a unique experience.

Michael and his wife, Stacie, live in the Bethany Beach, Delaware, area. Stacie owned Seaquels, a high-end consignment shop, before selling her interest in late 2024. She is now helping Michael out with scheduling and events . Their son, Padraig, graduated from Villanova University in 2022 and has started his career in the financial services industry. Claire a graduate of Flagler College, is working for Loftus Wealth handling social media and branding, while also pursuing her art career. Brighid will be graduating from the University of Arizona in May 2025.

Like his father, siblings and son, Michael attended Villanova University. He remains a die-hard fan of the Wildcats, traveling two hours each way to catch their home games. Outside of Nova hoops, Michael can be found on the golf course, on his boat or following his passion for photography.

​Michael is an impassioned champion of research for Alzheimer’s after his dad, Jim, passed away from the disease in 2013. He started the Athletes Against Alzheimer’s 5k walk/run race in Bethany Beach in August 2015 and has raised over $100,000.
